Maintenance of fire-fighting equipment and systems

SPASI LLC provides a range of services for inspection, maintenance and certification of ship fire-fighting equipment and systems.

Checking the personal firefighter equipment kits:

  • self-contained breathing apparatus, emergency breathing devices (EEBD) (cleaning, maintenance, leak testing, repair with replacement of spare parts, recharging with compressed air up to 320 Bar);
  • firefighter’s combat clothing – clothing, boots, shoes, gloves, hard helmet, axe;
  • special belts, carabiners, safety ropes.

Checking, maintenance and testing of primary fire extinguishing equipment:

  • portable and non-portable marine fire extinguishers of all types and sizes – carbon dioxide (OU), powder (OP), air-foam (OVP);
  • fire hoses and hand-held fire nozzles (inspection, connection testing, hydraulic testing, drying, rolling onto a new rib, etc.);

Inspection, maintenance and testing of fire detection stations and fixed volumetric fire extinguishing stations:

  • determination of the quantity (level) of fire extinguishing agent (CO2 and Freon) in cylinders of fixed gas fire extinguishing systems;
  • inspection, maintenance, hydraulic testing and filling of cylinders of a fixed carbon dioxide extinguishing system;
  • inspection, maintenance and testing of fixed carbon dioxide extinguishing systems in accordance with regulation 11-2/14 of the SOLAS-74 Convention and IMO Circular MSC.l/Circ.1318.;
  • preliminary survey, installation, commissioning and acceptance tests, maintenance, routine inspection of ship aerosol fire extinguishing systems manufactured by OOO “Fire Extinguishing Systems” and NPO “KASKAD LLC (aerosol fire extinguishing system kaskad);
  • fire detection and fire alarm systems, sensors.
